Abstract, organic, and unpredictable chemical reactions created in swathes of acrylic paint that burst, swell and disperse to reflect the fleeting nature of memory, the beauty in the mundane, and the impermanence of human connection. Both reflecting and announcing the influential elements behind Tides of Man’s new album, EVERY NOTHING.
TIDES OF MAN | STATIC HYMN (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO)
Furthering the band’s concept of minuscule connections creating lasting change over time, we developed a music video that could show this process occurring in the span of a few minutes. Easing back on the dramatic edits of the announcement trailer, we favored spacious, atmospheric camera moves that allow the viewer to settle in with the song and observe the unspooling miniature world before them.
