A documentary series where adidas Originals goes behind-the-scenes at some of the best sneaker stores in the world. Episode 1 takes us to Sneakersnstuff in Stockholm to chat with owners and Consortium collaborators, Peter Jansson and Erik Fagerlind.

Striking a balance between historical reverence and modern aesthetics, I constructed this edit to playfully leap between informative interviews, kinetic city sequences, and vintage materials from the archives of Adidas and Sneakersnstuff, culling a comprehensive look at their partnership.

Host Edward Chiu of Highsnobiety takes to the streets of Taipei for an in-depth interview with Jimmy Wu, the founder and owner of Invincible.

With the technological leaps made socially in Taipei, I leaned into building the edit around the vibrant interconnectivity reflected in the city’s embodiment of past and present, that of a neon glow highlighting a handmade ethos.

Focusing on the cohesive energy that existed between the designers and our host, I crafted the edit around a series of montages that showed the interconnectivity of their careers and personal passions (fashion, music, and design), to illustrate how creation is never a singular process.

Adidas’ Jon Wexler sits down for a conversation with longtime collaborator, partner, and friend Ronnie Fieg, the founder and owner of KITH.

To give this season of SHPTLKS a sense of closure, we shifted the format to a more intimate environment to focus on the dynamic approaches that Adidas and KITH use and how that informs their collaborative relationship, intermixed with fluid highlights of KITH’s flagship store and hometown of New York City.
